The brunch trend has recently taken off and we can’t say that we complain. If only there was time for a relaxing brunch during the week, we wouldn’t be here selling cars. This weekend, gear up to follow our guide to the best brunch spots across Albuquerque and buckle up because your taste buds are about to take an exciting ride.
If you’re looking for a classic brunch with your staple breakfast items, The Egg & I is the spot for you. Here you’ll find every morning meal item you could want, but their various eggs benedict items are to die for. We recommend the veggie benedict for sure.
Mannie’s Restaurant
This local place has been around since 1965 and is a great spot for the younger crowd. It’s conveniently located close to the university and offers reasonable prices. It’s definitely a great restaurant for a study group to eat and get together with free Wi-Fi and spacious booths. Have we mentioned the incredible cinnamon rolls? Definitely worth a cheat day from your diet.
Gold Street Cafe
For the hip crowd, head to Gold Street Cafe. You’ll find this yummy spot in our urban downtown and the best part–you can bring your furry friends to dine with you! Their open patio allows dogs so you won’t have to rush home after brunch to be with them. Their menu incorporates local ingredients and is the perfect weekend place in the heart of downtown Albuquerque.
Hannah and Nate’s
If you’re looking for a quaint family spot, you’ve found it at Hannah and Nate’s. This restaurant was named after the owner’s children and has a homey, comfortable vibe to it. Their eggs benedict has a Hispanic flair to it and is smothered in their homemade carne adovada. You’ll also find their home décor shop next door which is owned by the same family. Definitely come here for a relaxing Sunday of eating and shopping.
