Larry H. Miller Dealerships employees choose a school for it's annual Day of Service.

The courtyard at Van Buren Middle School sports a fresh look after volunteers converged on the grounds for a beautification project.  About 35 employees from the five local Larry H. Miller auto dealerships participated in the landscaping project, planting trees and bushes, spreading gravel and setting up planter boxes.  Michelle Aragon, the company's local customer retention marketing manager, said the Day of Service is an annual event. It is always scheduled for April 26, which is the anniversary of the late Miller's birth.  "(Miller) always said, 'Go about doing good until there is too much good in the world'," Aragon said.  "The Larry H. Miller Group wants to support the communities it does business in," Aragon added. "There's just something about putting back into the community, like to help support school systems and other organizations that educate children."

"On behalf of Hyundai Hope on Wheels, please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of $12,318 received in 2012.
Pediatric cancer is an important health issue that affects far too many children in the US where every 36 minutes a child is diagnosed with the disease.
Hyundai Hope on Wheels has been committed to finding a cure since 1998 and we are pleased that we have awarded over $57 million to research and 93 cents on every dollar raised was provided directly for research.  With the assistance of donations like yours, we're able to award research grants to children's hospitals and other institutions which are doing life-saving work.

Our goal is clear:  we want to eliminate childhood cancer.  Thank you for making a difference and joining our fight to save so many lives."

Sincerely,
HOPE ON WHEELS

"On behalf of Casa Esperanza Endowment Foundation, I would like to thank you for your recent vehicle donation.

The need we serve:  Albuquerque's hospitals provide the best medical care available and Casa Esperanza works with these area hospitals to extend the best 'human" care available.  We provide appropriate housing and emotional support for patients and their families who reside temporarily in Albuquerque while the patient receives their treatment.  Casa Esperanza's families come to us from all backgrounds and income levels but they share one thing in common - each family is facing fear and emotional upheaval."

Thank you,

Chrisann Gray

Dear friend of the homeless,

Your recent donation to Joy Junction is such a blessing!  Thank you for sharing in our mission to help families get back on their feet.  We appreciate your faithful support.

Joy Junction has recently seen so many more families in need of our help.  They have found themselves at the shelter with no place else to go.  Many have children who are under 5 years of age; others have school-aged children.  For all these families, Joy Junction provides shelter, food, clothing and other services.  Most importantly, we keep these families together!

We also serve the homeless and hungry who do not reside at Joy Junction.  Every day, the Lifeline of Hope mobile food wagon visits areas where families need an extra helping hand.  The food wagon delivers food, water, soft drinks and an encouraging word.

Many who come to Joy Junction need more than a meal so we encourage our guests to join the Christ in Power Program, a 9-month recovery class.  Through Bible study, class discussion, pastoral counseling, life skills training and chore assignments, participants find the strength to overcome struggles with addictions and other harmful behaviors.

Every gift to Joy Junction helps support our ministry.  Without donors like you, we could not do our work!  (we do not receive government funding)

Once again, many thanks,

Jeremy Reynalds,  Ph.D
Founder/CEO

Albuquerque Children's Christian Home provides a permanent home to youth who are in crisis. School-age children who are victims of neglect and abuse receive treatment at the facility, which is funded through private contributions from foundations, individuals and businesses. Unlike government-funded programs such as foster care, Albuquerque Children's Christian Home allows residents to stay as long as supervision and treatment are needed. Larry H. Miller Charities made a sizeable donation to this life-changing nonprofit group.

Eastern Hills Christian Academy began as a preschool and kindergarten program in 1973 and grew over the years to include elementary and middle school classes. Thanks to a donation from LHM Charities, elementary-age students can now watch laboratory investigations via interactive DVDs.
